Alice in Wonderland Themed Tables

This is one of the tables at my friend Britni's Sweet 16 birthday party. Do you remember the scene where Alice asks "Why don't you just paint the roses red?" when they planted white roses and the queen wanted red roses? Britni actually got fake white roses and painted them red. It was at the Butler Grand Ballroom. We danced for almost 4 hours straight! Crazy fun! :) (Notice the Drink Me glass from the movie)

This is my friend Britni's Sweet 16 Birthday Cake. Her party was Alice in Wonderland themed and the cake is supposed to resemble the Chesire cat on top and the Queen of Hearts on bottom. It was made at the Oakmont Bakery. It was red velvet cake. Delicious.

Today the world is blue.

Sparkling like a blue topaz gemstone on an engagement ring.

It is as beautiful as freshly bloomed blue roses on a warm spring day,

Or like the sweet summer blueberries growing wildly on a hill, just waiting to be picked.

Blue is sharing cotton candy at the carnival with your siblings on a hot summer day.

Blue is a singing blue jay in March.

Blue is a newborn baby, a new life brought into our world.

Blue like a dolphin splashing in and out of the ocean.

Blue is the sound of rushing water or nature all around us.
